Please fill in the blank. For the past umpteen years I've been riding Sugoi Evolution Short and Shorty's. I love them, but I'm back to needing to get a few new pairs. I just ordered one, but thought... hey, maybe there's something else out there I should try, especially because the one thing I don't like about the Sugoi's is that the seam falls right at the wrong spot, rubs between my inner thigh and the saddle so I get chaffed there.
The thing that has not worked for me with other shorts is the layout/shape of the chamois. The parts that are supposed to cover my sitbones wind up behind my sit bones, so when I'm sitting on the saddle I've got a chamois on the back of my butt! This is how Ibex wool capri's fit and also Pearl Izumi's. The fabric fit fine, but the chamois didn't cover where it was supposed to cover. I
So, if anyone out there likes the Sugois main chamois fit but maybe has had success in also finding one that does not chaff the inner thighs, I'd love to learn about them.
Thanks!

I like Sugoi shorts and also like Castelli. I think the chamois in my Castelli shorts is very similar to the AC37 chamois.
Happy short shopping.:)

I liked the Sugoi Evolutions with the older Ricaro chamois (the red and orangey one). The new bright green Sugoi chamois doesn't work for me.
Anyway, my latest favorites are the Terry Bella shorts. Their chamois has less padding than many, and lines up nicely with my sit bones.
Good luck!

Thanks so much for these replies. I found that the best thing I could have done I did... I called TE... and the person in customer service - I'm sorry I don't remember her name - was absolutely wonderful. She talked with me about what I liked and didn't like about the Sugoi shorts and then proceeded to not only provide me with options that met my needs but went to the warehouse and got those shorts and described them to me over the phone. I cannot tell you how invaluable this information was to me. As a result I'm going to try 2 new pairs... am very excited to give them a try. Thank you everyone and thank you TE customer service!

May I ask what shorts were recommended to you? Thanks :)

Hi, sure! She actually suggested about 6 or so pairs but the 2 that I decided to purchase are the Gore Ozon and Louis Garneau Neo Power shorts. Both do not have inseam seams and the chamois look good. I'm sorry I cannot remember the others... oh, the Sugoi RS short she said did not have the inseam seam too, but I decided to try something other than Sugoi this go 'round.
