Back in the Saddle again....
After many months of no really good reason to not ride, I got out with some of the office peeps for a 10 mile levee ride along the Mississippi River. And like usual, it was windy. Riding with the wind made me feel like hot stuff, riding into it, made me work.
But it was great to be back in the saddle again! :D Maybe my bike will forgive me for ignoring it all winter. Meanwhile, my knees are not so certain about this new level of activity. :rolleyes:
I also rediscovered that I wasn't so good about hydrating properly before or during ride, as I woke this morning with a mild dehydration caused migraine. Bad cyclist, bad bad cyclist. At least there's better living through H2O and chemistry. :o
