waw, veronica, what a nice trip you made! I really enjoyed the pictures, i can't imagine a landscape like this in my tiny little country Belgium!! Do you know what I would love to do? the route 66 with my bike! it's just a dream , so i keep on riding here near the sea and the fields and sometimes a litlle "col", a bridge or so here in Flanders!! haha! But every year we go to the Ventoux for a week and then that mountain is mine!!And the Provence in France is really very nice to ride through! and in the evening... a glass of wine, bread and cheese! Life can be so beautifull!! Bye

It was a great trip. The only downside was that we had planned on going to the next peak. But after the flat, we had lost our momentum and it was hard getting it back. If we had gone on, it would have been our first 200K. But there's always next year.:)
