House is cycling related tonight! The guide says the patient is in a bike accident. I'm going to be bummed if it's a motorcycle.

Nope, it's definitely a bicycle. There was a trailer for it on Hulu but unfortunately it expired. It looks really, really good. Scary because of what goes down for said cyclist, but good.

Pleeeease no spoilers if you see it. I'm gonna try and get the rabbit ears to bring it in for me but I don't have a ton of faith in that so I might have to wait a week for it to show up on Hulu.

Ah ha! It is online http://www.fox.com/fod/play.php?sh=house Go down to "Video Extras" and use the right arrow once to scroll. It's titled Mos Def's "Life in Marvelous Times" And right to left of it there's the first two minutes of the show, dare I even look?

Why was House scraped up and a patient?

There was an episode a couple of years ago that involved a cyclist racing. Is it a repeat?

No. The guy got doored and couldn't brake because his brain couldn't send the signals to his hand.
Everything is ok in the end. Ahhh, TV World!

Okay, it looks like you just told me how the whole show goes, so ... I guess I don't need to bother watching it. (I kind of have a thing about not even watching previews. I hate to know too much!) Oh well. At least my husband will be surprised. ;)

He was in a motorcycle accident, which they didn't show.

Not much cycling in this one. I couldn't even tell what kind of bike the guy was riding.

couldn't tell what kind of bike, but there was a good PR moment for Ritchey! They gave a good view of the logo on the bars.

But that's how it always is in TVland...at least on the networks. No surprise there.

But not always in House-land. Every so often they kill one off, just to keep us guessing.

But I'm covering my eyes and ears and singing "la-la-la-la" to myself so I don't find out any more. I won't have a chance to watch this episode until Wednesday.

I used to be a big House fan, but I don't get that station anymore. I guess they already went digital, and another of my stations is going digital tomorrow. Then I'll have two to choose from--ya know, somehow I don't think I'm missing out on much! So far so good with the NCAA b-ball tournament. My team's still in! If that station blacks out on me tomorrow, I might have to reconsider my options.

DH refuses to drop cable but now that I got a new job that doesn't require me to be able to access work from home I may have some ammo because I can drop the high speed internet. :p

Does Fox show their programs on-line?
I sometimes watch NBC shows on line but you have to wait a day.

Yes, you have to wait 8 days for House though (they upload the morning after the next new episode). Some of their other shows (like Dollhouse) are up the next day, go figure.

I do watch House re-runs sometimes, if there is nothing else on. I like it, but hate his character (maybe I'm supposed to?).

I was turned off pretty early - in one of the first episodes, he's trying to figure out what is wrong with the patient, and someone suggests he might have Hepatitis C in addition to something else. House says something to the effect that the Hep C part is easy to cure - never mind that. Well, my husband has it, and I wish all these real doctors knew what House knows, because DH has been in a clinical trial for about 10 years now, part of which involved months and months of really harsh treatment that had very little effect (other than severe depression and weight loss, among other things). I was offended. Very poor background research (which would have been pretty easy to do). Just T.V. though.

I can't watch House.... dirves me crazy!! The guy walks with his cane in the wrong hand!!! Any PT would be driven mad but such things.;)

Heh. The cane-in-the-wrong-hand thing was actually addressed in an episode by a PT when house hurt his shoulder. He refused to switch to the proper side.
