The overall placings were pretty much determined by the time trial, but from what I read during the race tickers (they're in Spanish and I'm barely literate in English :p ), he tried to attack in yesterday's mountain stage. That is, attack Contador in Contador's element. So, yeah, it looks like his season could be interesting.
