Upgrading Shimano Sora Components

Hi,

I'm looking to upgrade some components on my REI Novara Carema. I have the road bike with a mountain bike like frame. Any advice ? Does any one have older higher grade components to sell?

You can't go wrong with the Rival group from SRAM. It's relatively inexpensive if you shop around and very high quality.
