Last week I was running in -15 degree temps and today I found myself walking home in the lower 50s. I heard the roar of motorcycles starting up for the first time this season as I passed several garages and it had me longing to hop on my sexy road-bike.

Once such an idea pops into my head I can't let it go...So I made sure my route home passed by our garage. Between massive puddles of melted snow & tons of gravel on the pavement I was able to ride for a whole 2minutes. :D

I had forgotten how beautiful, light and nimble she was. It was wonderful. Come on spring!!!

I like how the snow looks like the tires are burnin' rubber. Vroom vroom! :D

You Northerners are a tough breed, that's for sure!!!
Your bike looks so pretty sitting there among the snow. 2 minutes probably felt like a lifetime since I'm sure it's been such a long time since you've taken your baby out. Glad you got a ride in (albeit a far too short one). ;)

And I'm not even going to ask how you possibly can run in -15 degrees. I can't even run in +15 degrees without feeling like I'm going to freeze mid stride. :)

That's a great picture, I'm not normally keen on orange but your bike looks lovely!

I've decided one of the best things about having a bright orange bike is how easy it is to find in a transition area. :D

Looking forward to putting my new clipless pedals on her & getting rid of the baskets. Will probably do that next week so she's good to go once the roads are clear.
