Hiya... I just found this site... not sure if it's been posted before but it's a good one about prepping for a century... what and how to fuel for it, hydrate for it, and build speed etc... some of it by female racers as well! Just thought some might find it helpful... :)

Good site bikerchick, I haven't seen it before
I'm thinking I might try a century (as in 160km race) but its a long term goal - next year maybe.
But its very interesting to look around this site - thanks

roadraven... let me know when you do your first century... I have ridden 3 this year and have 2 more that I am registered for... I DO NOT race! LOL... but really like doing organized centuries... if you can ride 60 miles you can do 100 with little to no problems! It becomes more a matter of convincing yourself you can do it than anything... :)

glad you like the site... I thought it was pretty neat!

Well... my first century will be a metric one, and it will be on a training ride... and I don't anticipate it before spring/summer... I just won't get the endurance training in before then
But be sure, I will let you all know
;)
Thanks for being interested...
