:D Hello Everyone... It's almost springtime.... and with people going out on rides, I'm sure that you all are showing off your favorite jerseys....

1) What are your favorite jerseys? >>>> Please feel free to post pictures!!!
2) Do you think that I (who am a woman's medium/small fit into a man's small?)

FWIW: I'm a women's L and fit a men's M. I did just buy a men's small, though. Probably an aberration.

Admittedly I've only begun wearing jerseys in the past 6 years and I've been cycling regularily for the past 17 yrs. And I used to cycle tons more annually pre-jersey days.

I'm here in the blue one.
http://forums.teamestrogen.com/showthread.php?t=29314 I like it for the colour on me, not necessarily the cut, which is a slight hassle.

I do tend to choose jerseys that are bright in colours not just for visibility but also my natural hair colour, etc. allows me to wear brighter colours close to my face. I also feel more energetic when wearing brighter colours. Solid shades of red, orange, hi-vi yellow and even a lime green with grey.

For instance I would never wear a solid black, brown nor dark blue jersey or cycling jacket unless there was also large blocks of bright colour. It's more psychological for how I want to feel on the bike. Off-bike I will wear these dark solid colours (carefully selected) in non-cycling clothing.

But I wish there was curious george (that monkey) on the bike..in a women's size, not child's size/cut. :p

It's definitely not warm enough here for a jersey yet (-30 windchill currently), but I really love my TwinSix Fat Cyclist jersey (http://twinsix.com/) that I got last year. It supports a good cause (Win Susan!!!), is my favorite color & matches my bike. :D

It's a men's sz. small that I am wearing in the photo. I usually fit into a sz. 4/6 in women's clothing just to give you an idea of what size jersey might work for you.

Urlea, you're as cute as a button! I bet you can kick bu tt on that bike, too. What a great match between bike and jersey. :)

And yes, a men's small should be fine...

I found the Twin Six jersey to be too short. It's made for someone with a shorter torso. And the pockets come up too high.

For short sleeve jerseys, I mostly wear Nikes, but I don't think they make cycling clothes anymore except for the Livestrong stuff. I like the lack of elastic on the arms and at the bottom.

For sleeveless, I like the Shebeest easy-v. They're comfortable, not too snug and the provide good coverage on your shoulders/back so you don't have to worry about being unable to reach all the bare spots with the sunscreen.

On the rare occasions that I have bought a men's jersey, I found them to be very long.

1. My favorite but I lost 25 lbs and it doesn't fit! :( I wonder if it can be tailored? And last week it was warm enough for sleeveless in Texas, today high of 45. Go figure! Oh and look a good reason to show my bike, I love bike porn. :p

My second favorite, sorry bad pic but the only one I got access to!

2. Lets see I have Small, Mediums, Large, Extra Large. Descente runs tiny and to get my rather top heavy assets I need a XL and I have two of those. Mens club cut I need a small. Those A&M ones are men's racing cut but I have a small because I was really thin when I ordered it in 2004, I probably would prefer a medium. Primal Wear (older) I wear Medium. That red jersey is club cut large, I need a medium now. So like everything else, sizes are a crapshoot.

LOL, you make me laugh!!

Unfortunately for me the quads & calves aren't from cycling (I just started last year). It's a combination of wakeboarding, snowboarding, hiking & running muscles, but I'm working on converting them to riding. :D So far it seems to be working, we'll see.

Ny_Biker I am kind of surprised you found the TwinSix jerseys to be too short. I consider myself long waisted and haven't had a problem. Was the jersey you tried a women's or men's? Because I know the mens are longer (which is what I have).

It's a womens. I started with the medium which was too small, but the large is still snug because the elastic at the top of the pockets is up to high and it's too tight.

My favorite jersey is my 2001 Death Ride jersey that I bought when I finished the ride. It's not very pretty. It was the purple and yellow year. Yuck. But it's the fact that I DID the Death Ride that makes me like it.

I wear anything from a women's medium to XL and a men's medium to XL depending on the brand. feh The only thing I know is that I'll never wear a small.

My favorite is the Speed Queen (http://www.veloclothes.com/prod1.aspx?Product_ID=1586&Brand=All%20Brands) sleeveless jersey. I'm always cleaning or doing laundry so it fits my personality.

The jersey(s) I find myself wearing the most are my Castelli Partenzas. I ended up with three in various colors because the fit and comfort (and price if you're savy) is spot on for me. They vent very well in the TX summer heat, but also work well in much cooler weather. Definitely my favorite "go to" jersey.

In regard to men's sizing, I'm a solid women's medium and I find a men's small quite a bit too large.

My favorite is a Terry: http://www.teamestrogen.com/prodTY_1958_0.html. I wear Lrg and X-Lrg in most jerseys due to generous upper body :o. The Terry Large fits nicely, but not too tight. And the neon color ensures that the crazy drivers in Atlanta see me on the road.

i prefer men's jerseys because they have 3 pockets, longer waist and usually longer zippers. i love fullzip jerseys. i usually wear women's medium or mens small, so men's small should fit you just fine. i have a bazillion women's jerseys because i cant resist when i see a pink jersey on ebay, but i do prefer men's fit.
