My friend's son has one of these. Of course my friend's husband is a pro racer. :P The son is 2 and LOVES this bike. He can really get it going.

A lot of the time mentally I'm about 5 years old :D. Does that count?:confused::p

It looks like the lil ones are having fun. Maybe if you asked the manufacturer they could spec one out in your size? Ya never know;).

They are supposed to make it easier for the kids to ride a regular bike when they get old enough. They get used to the idea of gliding and balancing with one of those, as opposed to training wheels, which teach pedaling, but no balance.

My grandson got one of those (a Specialized version) for his 3rd birthday, and he was running off on it within an hour! He needs the seat moved up which I forgot to do when I was there, so he is preferring the tricycle at this time. He has a bigger bike with training wheels but that thing is so heavy he hates to ride it. I think when he gets a little bigger, he will be able to ride it without the training wheels the first try.
