From the Weather Channel:
Areas under the gun will include Missouri, northwestern Arkansas and southeast Iowa and will extend east across Illinois into Indiana, southern Michigan and northwest Ohio.
Damaging winds and hail are expected, but a small tornado outbreak is possible as well.
The wintry side of the storm will also pack a punch.
Snow will spread from out of the Dakotas into Minnesota during the day and become heavy with increasing winds.
Blizzard conditions will be possible in some areas and foot or more of snowfall is possible across portions of northern Minnesota.
Wind gusts will reach over 40 to 50 mph making travel very dangerous as blowing snow reduces visibilities.
Snow showers and gusty winds will buffet the northern tier through Wednesday.
High temperatures will run the spectrum ranging from the frigid the single digits and single digits below zero in North Dakota to the near record mid to upper 70s across the Ohio Valley.
After the warm Tuesday around the Ohio Valley, Wednesday will see temperatures drop 30 or more degrees on Wednesday.

Well, since I started the diet I'm left with just pickles on the menu. ;)
This storm is really going to pack a nasty punch for alot of the TE'ers here. The storm cell is HUGE!! Doggie people get your chill pills ready. It's going to get nasty tomorrow night.

So far we have a wind advisory in our area.
Here's what Weather Channel is reporting for Tuesday:
7:08 am ET
What's on tap for Tuesday:
Dakotas, Minnesota blizzard
A fierce winter storm will track through the northern Plains and Upper Midwest today. It will go on to produce snow amounts of a foot or more for the worst hit areas, powerful wind gusts, near-zero visibility and wicked, life-threatening wind chills. This is no doubt the big weather story of the day and what "Today in Weather" will follow throughout the day providing current conditions that stand out, storm reports and webcam visuals.
Severe weather in Missouri, Illinois
The same storm system responsible for the blizzard will also be responsible in producing severe weather. A powerful cold front will push southeast into northeastern Missouri and northwestern Illinois. Storms will break out during the mid-afternoon hours and will quickly gain supercell characteristics capable of spawning tornadoes and large, damaging hail. As the afternoon turns into the evening hours, the threat will shift from tornadoes to damaging wind gusts as the storm become more linear in nature.
Midwest heavy rain
Yet again, more rain with embedded thunderstorms will soak the Midwest - the same regions doused with heavy rains over the weekend. One to two inches will soak an area from northeast Iowa to southern Michigan and northwest Ohio. Some localized areas will pick up more than 2.5 inches. This will enable already flooding rivers to push over to moderate or even major flooding status.
Are there any TE'ers in MN here?

So far we have a wind advisory in our area.
Here's what Weather Channel is reporting for Tuesday:
Are there any TE'ers in MN here?
Not in MN but in ND
BUT I am in the right part of ND for a change :D we are just getting the windchills and a little snow.
Urlea is in the SE part of the state that is supposed to get hit the hardest.
We can survive a blizzard and low windchills w/o difficulty
But my prayers go out to everyone else at risk of tornados and flooding.
Puleeeeese Spring hurry up and get here!

I am in MN yes, but the national weather media always seems to make a bigger deal out of these normal winter storms than they need to, much to the amusement of folks here. ;) My biggest problem will be standing in wind-driven snow tonight waiting for the bus.
