I know that having ID is important when riding. I looked into the
Road ID "dog tags" and they were $25. When I was shopping, the military surplus store was advertising 2 dog tags for $10. I stopped and 5 minutes later I had ID.

I thought this might be a good alternative. I got my name, 2 emergency contacts and my allergies on each dog tag.

That's a good alternative for sure! I'll have to see if we have a military surplus store in town. I have a Road ID, but it might be nice to have an extra dog tag lying around. :)

A friend showed up with something cool recently:
a dog tag that you can add a photo (http://www.ecustom.com/do/product/CUSTOM-PRINTED/S_DT?source=sr_dtt)to.

But actually I'd quite like this,

which you can add 3 lines of text to. (http://www.stickyj.com/sxs1030.html)

how about

I really like that necklace, but I'd be afraid no one would think to look on the back of it for info because it looks so pretty!
