for those of you that live nearby (Seattle) I wanted to let you know that I will have art available to the public (including more than one bicycle painting) for sale on March 8th from noon to 5 at the C art gallery on Hiawatha street (a block east of the intersection of Rainier avenue and Dearborn St) as a participant in their Urban Art Fair. I will have my very own table and some wall space where I will have some paintings hanging. I hope you can come, it will be fun. For those of you who don't know, I am considered an "emerging artist" IE, NEW. I'd love to see you!

this is what they have to say about it:
Spend Sunday afternoon meeting Pacific Northwest fine artists as they present their most recent work and learn more about arts organizations in the community. C Art Gallery in partnership with My World Dance both located at the Hiawatha Artist Lofts in Seattle’s Central District will open their doors and clear the floor to bring the urban arts community together for this event. This is a great opportunity to talk to artists about their work, purchase affordable art and meet art organization representatives on one day in one place. For more information call 206-554-9444

Lots of luck Mimi!

We will be in Seattle next weekend for the Bike Expo, so maybe I'll see the leftovers. :D

Let those of us who can't be around, how it goes.

Best of shows to you Mimi! Your paintings are absolutely gorgeous!! I have finally put my studio together enough to begin some paintings. My hours on my regular job went from nightshift to dayshift and I had a few weeks of confusion, but now I am excited to be able to participate in a local society of artists and start getting my name and art out there. I am very proud of you and your accomplishments - you are an inspiration to me - keep up the awesome work!
