I've always wanted a Brooks saddle just because. But, for me, they are pricey. My question is: if I buy a zippier bike, is it likely that a nicely broken in Brooks would work on the new bike, or is that unknowable?
I have a Trek 7100; if I bought a new bike it would likely be another Trek hybrid, but I want the fx version this time.
It's not an urgent question, as I am okay with the stock saddle on my current bike. But when I went to the store to look at jackets, I looked at saddles, and that led me to look at the saddle on every single bike I saw on the way home, and that led me to look at saddles online, and that led me to post this question. I expect this is not an unfamiliar phenomenon to most of you reading this question.
