It has been a while since i have given an update on our little Lorelei who by the way is turning 4 on march 10th.
She is doing ok. Her blood test (which is once a week) have had improvements. The # have been falling which is a good sign for now. She has gained about 5 pounds (still VERY thin) and her hair finally grew out (the one biopsy they did they had to shave half the hair off this time last year) to a point that she could get it cut . It seems, according myself and my good friend she looks to have more of a sparkle in her eye's now. Hopefully that is a good sign. Her immune system is compramised so when she gets a cold or something we are all on edge and pray she doesn't end up back in the hospital. So far 2 colds in 2 months have been small and passed quickly.
I can't say if she will go back to the way she was before last christmas but every little step up, even if it is tiny makes all the difference in the world.
And with the blood test finally showing improvement my sister seems to have more hope now. And so do I.
