:D
*ahhhh* It's my last day at work *YAY* I'm so happy to leave :D (My company is giving me a Ground Efffect gift cert as a leaving gift :D)
I'm on a new journey & start university on Tuesday. I know I might have to do some more crap jobs whilst studying but I can now see beyond them. I'm tired of doing dead end type roles & not moving forward. (well, except on my bike )
I know i'm in for some hard work but I have Ian to support me. That and he'll ensure i'm in tip top form! I look forward to learning & THINKING!!! Uh, in terms of writing papers..:o. This time I aim to do ALOT better than when i completed my first degree!!!
This time I know i'll have a degree relevant to a specific career upon graduation, be able to transfer the skills overseas and work in the public/private sectors. In case i forgot to mention, i'm doing a degree in Urban & Regional Planning.

Or if you want a REAL challenge in a bonefide banana republic - come to the Big Easy! People around here complain to no end about getting things fix, but when it come to cutting contracts, they want you to call their brother or cousin who has a business.... You'll be guaranteed to loose what's left of your mind. And we all know just how well we did on planning... On the otherhand, for the best restaurants in the world, music, festivals, this place can't be beat. Just have a place to run in August and September. :p
Better get good grades and call Tulip. ;)

Now, I'll have no reason to try to learn how to spell superannuation (did I spell that right?). You're the first person that I ever heard that word from...;)
Good luck on the journey:)

CC, you will be great. I am really enjoying school. It's the first time since I graduated college, in the 70's, that I have been a full time student. I did my first Master's degree at night. What a slog that was.
My biggest fear was being the oldest person in my program, but I am not. Although there are 2 students who were in my oldest son's HS class!
Good Luck!

Thanks ladies for all your support!
The first day (today) went well & am happy that i've returned to uni. I was a bit nervous & wondered if i had done the right thing but it's all coolio.
The work with my previous company I think gave me prior knowledge that I didn't even realize would be useful. I found myself nodding my head in the lecture as the areas in Western Australia he referred were ones that the previous company had dealings with...interesting..
Now all i need to do is figure out what's wrong with my back tire? I went to pump it up this morning just to be on the safe side bt it just deflated and wouldn't pump up at all. I think there's an issue with the valve? I have to remove the pannier rack first :(
Thanks again!
