After a lot of scepticism, I decided to agree to wear this bracelet after my partner bought me one.

I am not going to bore you with all the bumph about them, just wondered if anybody else has ever worn one?

Clock.............who still thinks it's a con!

Over here, PHIten is all the rage, it's a titanium thread wrapped in plastic that is supposed to balance your energy.

Energy, yeah right. I don't subscribe to "energy".

What my acupuncture doctor told me is that most magnets marketed as "therapeutic" are way too weak to do any good. He had me buy some of the rare earth magnets from Radio Shack ($3 for two) and tape them onto specified points. Those are some really strong magnets and they really seemed to help. But I was constantly worrying about getting them near my hard drive, especially when they'd fall off while I was asleep and then I wouldn't be able to find them right away... Not exactly jewelry, either.

I by no means believe that any human science individually, nor all of them combined, knows everything there is to know about the human body.

Oakleaf, your comment about the hard drive made me think of something else. Those strong magnets you describe should be kept away from pacemakers/ICDs as well.

also keep magnets away from computer screens - it makes them go wacky. How do I know this, one of my boys played with a magnet and a computer screen once - really screwed up the color.
