"Williams Cycling of Stockton, California, has filmed all the climbs of this year's Amgen Tour of California. You can see these previews, stage by stage with informative commentary, at http://www.williamscycling.com. Particularly interesting is stage 8 that includes the 11.8-mile (19-km) ascent of Palomar Mountain with its average grade of 7-9%. That's on the ATOC's final day, and the climb is seen as a potential make-it or break-it point for determining the overall winner."

Cool, gotta take a look at that. DH and I were hoping to find a way to come this year but alas I think not. This should make us even more depressed.:p You Cali women are so dang lucky!!

Palomar MTN :eek::eek: Are they nuts??

Its very dry very hot and infested with pacific rattle snakes in the area. Spectator needs to be awfully careful. Just thinking about it wears me out. Just getting there is bad enough.

Must go look and see where they start.
