I just wanted to take a moment and say thank you to all the members/mentors of this board. I completed my first century today - ever. Self-supported. I wouldn't have even considered it if it wasn't for the support and the advice on this board.
Susan,Jeff: Thanks for having a forum where such great advice is offered making a dream possible for some of us.
Members of the board: Thank you so much for your support, your help, your advice and your caring. I'm not sure I would've even dreamed of attempting something like this without all your help. You made me realize A) I Could do this and B) I could do this alone.
Thank you all for helping me to achieve a huge goal of mine for this year!

Wow, Kathie, that's awesome! I've done a few centuries, but never self-supported. I can't imagine getting along without the great rest stop goodies! You have my deep admiration. Congratulations! :)

Congratulations!!!! I did my first few un-supported - what a treat it was when I did a real live organized one! Be careful though,... centuries are addictive!
