I posted here instead of regional section. Gets more viewing and some may want to come from out of state. The ride isn't as bad as they make it to be. similar to triple cardiac in Colo. or the climb in Hawaii. There are lots of ride with 10,000 feet of climb in one day. It just happens that this was one of the first. One phenominal ride. Beautiful secenery, CLOSED rode NO CARS on Monitor, and Ebetts. Wonderful food. And fresh mountain air. Just be prepared for alpine weather. suffered hypothermia one year and suffered heat exhaustion in another year SAG is really good.

And you don't have to do all five passes. You can do 1 pass option all the way up to 5 passes. I jost hope I don't get locked out like I did with Breathless ride. :mad:

Thank goodness for my office internet connection. It has a very high ping rate connection. Better than regular DSL. Even then it took probably 30-60 tries to get in. Try every second.

for those going, make sure you bring hot weather gear and cold weather gear. You just never know what the weather is going to be like. The year I SAGed in was the year when there was a "winter storm" sleet and rain on Ebetts with black ice. I suffered mild hypothermia at the top. Couldn't work the brake levers anymore.

Another year, I suffered bit of heat exhaustion from the hot dry wind coming up Ebetts pass. Really wanted a chapstick cause my lips cracked from the dry heat. I melted the rest of the way.

Well I'm really excited about this.
