Looking hard at a Seven Odonata. I'm not completely sold on the ti/carbon mix; is it really that different? I've only been able to test ride a full titanium or a full carbon so far. I'm also thinking about Independent Fabrications and Tom Kellogg (Spectrum). Any other suggestions out there? Does anyone has any experience dealing with any of these companies? Opinions on Merlin and Litespeed?

Input is greatly appreciated as this must be last bike purchase ever and the investment is huge ($$$$) for me.

I just purchased a Seven Axiom. I'm 5'3" with long legs and a history of wrist problems (carpal tunnel - yuck). Seven worked with my LBS to come up with a bike that does not bug my wrists, rides like silk, yet is lively and responsive. I adore it. :)

Seven was fabulous about communicating with me through the frame production cycle. It was great to be able to email or call with questions from serious to trivial ("Hi, can I change my decal color choice?") and be taken seriously.

The only other titanium bike I've tried though is the Wylder "Queen of the Road" (also a very nice bike). I wish I could give you some input on the Odonata - best I can do is to share my experience with the company.
