I'm not sure if my yahoo account's been hijacked.
Is there a way to find out if it has? Some weird things are happening like some of my emails are either not being sent or I'm not receiving them. None of my friends have gotten any suspicious emails with my username, but I've got a niggling feeling something's not quite right.

Well, first thing first - change your password. If your account has been hijacked, unless your entire computer has been as well, changing the password should do the trick. You can also check your sent box to see if there is any activity that you did not do. And you can always contact Yahoo to see if they have noticed anything unusual on your account.

How long has the problem been going on? I've noticed that there's sometimes a delay with Yahoo, as if their servers just get overloaded once in a while.

I've just changed my password. The problem's been going on for the past couple of weeks. It seems all the important emails I send does not get replied to. I check the spam folder in case it's been mis-directed there, but nope. It's very frustrating as it involves orders.

Another thought, are your emails being sent to business addresses? Some servers will not allow emails with a yahoo address to be delivered.
You might want to download a malware/spyware program and run it on your computer too see if there are any bad guys installed.

I get a lot of bounces, undeliverables and other server errors from (or to) freebie mailers like yahoo, hotmail, and sadly, my own.
the funniest thing is sending stuff to myself sometimes (2 accounts on the same service, different domain names, one with a "country" tag, one with .net - my own mailer "won't accept e-mail with its own domain name sent from a foreign server".
Some accounts receive some messages, some never.
At first glance, I don't think it's been hijacked. It's just a crappy account.

you know, I thought about the freebie account block, so I actually did send a couple from my work email address. Maybe it's not the account but the actual vendors being irresponsible? maybe I smell? :p

I recommend gmail -- same price (free) but really good service. Sorry you're having problems. I know how frustrating that can be!
