I don't know if it'll be big screen but big pastrami sandwich, big lox and bagel platter, big chicken and matzo ball soup ......

Come watch the inauguration at Sauls Deli in Berkeley CA

This is a party neutral post. If you voted Republican come to this event and eat, eat, you'll feel better *

* I'm Jewish, I can say that

My neighbor and her friend from England are going to go to AFI. She's going to stand in line on Monday to get tickets. Want me to ask her to get you one if she's not already got 4 takers lined up?

I'll just be getting back from Mexico the night before so I'm staying home to do laundry and watching the inauguration on tv.

I'm taking half the day off (can't get the whole day off) to watch. Regardless of how you voted or even where you are on the planet this is a historic event.

Does anyone know what time he will be sworn in?

I always thought it was at noon, but I read online that the ceremony starts at 11:30 eastern time.

ok, now I found something (http://voices.washingtonpost.com/inauguration-watch/2008/12/inaugural_committee_announces.html) that says it starts at 10, and he has to be sworn in before noon.

Thanks DB but I'll probably watch with my friend who I bought Mariposa from.

I talked her into doing the Goose Chase :D

I'll be getting in some last runs at Cannon then. DH will (hopefully) set the DVR to record it, and we'll watch it another day.

There is no way I would attempt to get from Arlington to Silver Spring on that day.

But since I just got my fabulous new HDTV and a DVR, I am all set to watch at home, whether I take time off from work to watch it live or I wait until after work.

In San Francisco Watch the event simulcast at the Civic Center. Admission is free with a donation of new clothes (with the tag still on). Donated clothes will be distributed to the homeless
