It was a good day. I didn't want a party, I just wanted to go play in the snow. So we went to flag and I hucked my carcass down the hill in a tobagon.

It was #40- ack! So not really one to celebrate. Esp. since I have let myself go, so I find myself 40 &40. - that is years old, and overweight! oy...

It's been a rough year for me, and it doesn't look to be getting any better anytime soon. Long story short I've been diagnosed as suffering from depression. Mostly due to financial woes. Something I know a lot of people are going through. But I've lost my mojo. I haven't been on my bike in months. It's been a rough go.
So yeah, no party for me. I don't think I could even fake one at this point.
But thanks so much for the kind words. It really does feel nice to know that people out there care.

Denise, I'm sorry you're having a rough go of it. I envision you bathed in light, surrounded by butterflies holding your motivation and desire exactly where you can see them and reach for them as soon as you are ready.

40 is going to be a great year for you, just as it was for me! I know it! For a woman, turning 40 is like turning on the power. All of those experiences we've had in the past 39 years all come together into a powerful, wonderful, whole person. Just like you. :p Triathlete, shop owner, mother, friend, beautiful woman, etc
