Okay, I'm am tech deficient and was wondering, can you use your phone, in my case a Palm Centro, as a GPS that will track you as you ride then you would be able to download that info to like bike journal. Anyone?
Thanks,
Gray
PS I hope everyone has a great new year!!

what service do you have?
allsport (http://portal.trimbleoutdoors.com/Main/Products/AllSportGPS/tabid/259/Default.aspx) is only app I know of , and you'll still need a new phone (it looks like) unless it's Verzion(where everything is proprietary) , plus you still have to manually enter the date into bike journal ( I understand that you still have to d manual entry with the Garmin edges)
I would like to see some one do this. Maybe i'll get a cheap phone and see if channel my inner mad scientist (put that J2ME class I took to good use)

I don't know about the Palm, sorry, but I do know the iPhone has a few services like that.

Doesn't work for me with the iPhone. Here's a recent post in the Gear section specific to the iPhone:

Try it with your phone and let us know. The iMapMyRide software for the iPhone was either free of very low cost, so the experiment may not be costly.
