Urban Velo strikes again (anyone who's not following that blog really should) with a blurb about WABA's intent to set up a bike valet for Inauguration Day (http://urbanvelo.org/inagural-bike-valet/). Sounds like a terrific idea for anyone who wants to brave chaos to attend.

I got the skinny on that straight from the source....WABA.
But...
I won't be braving any of that...as I just booked two tickets up to NH for some skiing at Cannon (http://www.cannonmt.com/) over MLK weekend! Woot!!
Buh-bye!

And'ya didn't share it with us???
I won't be down there, either. Our owner got smart and is going to keep the store closed that day, and open up on the Sunday beforehand instead. First time we'll be open on a Sunday in 15 years, but very smart planning, I think.
My fear is that all the tourists are gonna break Metro so badly that none of us regular commuters will be able to get to work on Wednesday, either.

My bad.
Knowing, of course, how fond we all are of loud, boisterous crowds, you (in particular) should, logically, have been the first folks to notify! :p;)
Frankly, I'm shocked she's not in Times Square right this minute :D

I'll be coming back from skiing near Salt Lake that Tuesday... skiing vs. historic inauguration, easy choice.
This is one of those times when television is your friend.
