K..We're in enzed & will be doing some mtn biking whilst here. I've not biked over wet clay & roots for a long time & need to get some last minute tips. I want to be prepared..

(Fingers crossed that we can squeeze in some mtn biking whilst we're here in Rotovegas :):cool:)

Scream well in advance :eek::eek::eek: - and take the roots as close as you can to a 90° angle.

lower your tire pressure - I currently am running between 20 & 25 psi on my Bontrager XDX 29er tires. I'm tubed right now and haven't flatted yet (probably just jinxed myself):rolleyes:

Like alpine stated, stay as close to 90 degrees as you can and be prepared to feel your rear tire duking it out on the roots. I'd join you for the root fest if I could. We both could exchange, uh, pleasantries whilst negotiating the roots. ;)
