Hi! I just installed a new rear wheel on my 9 speed road bike. The new wheel is a DT Swiss hub and rim. The hub is Shimano that is supposed to be compatible with 10, 9 and 8 speed bikes. Since I'm running a 9 speed I installed an inboard spacer and adjusted the deraillleur ... just a quick tune up. The crank is a triple Shimano dura ace and I'm running a 12-27 cassette for hill climbing. The derailleur seems to shift ok however, there seems to be a lot more chain noise when I pedal than with my old wheelset. Have any of you had problems with this? Were you able to adjust the derailleurs carefully to get rid of this problem? Or did you have overall alignment problems between the cranks and the cassette when you installed a new wheel that you solved? I'm going to see a mechanic about it tomorrow but thought I'd see if anyone else had this problem and what they did about it. Thanks!!!!
