View Full Version : WTB: Steel Women's Hybrid-ish Bicycle

I'm looking for a used bicycle for my mom :) My parents like to recycle and are reducing their consumerism. I'd love to find a used bike for my mom but am having a heck of a time on craigslist because my mom is so tall.

She is 5'8" with the usual women proportions: short torso, long legs.

If you have a bike you can bear parting with that is a steel frame and a mountain (no suspension fork)/ hybrid bicycle, please let me know! :)

I know it's a long shot but I'd love to find one made in the U.S.A.

If you're in my area, that's a plus but I'm not expecting too many responses since most of you love your bicycles... ;)

I don't have one, but try the terry website, buy/sell a used terry area. Trixie was a mixtie your mom might like, steel, and wsd. Older classics and madeleine also had flat mountain style bars.
