Has anyone used folding polypropylene tableware for camping? If yes, what did you think of it? Sierra Trading Post has Orikaso at a good price, and I'm so tempted.

I am a sucker for camping doo-dads, and have been known to spend money on things that look cool but aren't really all that useful.

I've never used them, but at that price how could you go wrong buying one to try, really?

I use actual flat plastic plates for camping...they don't fold, but I don't backpack overnight, so I don't need that. As far as plastic, I wish I had aluminum or some cool metal ones my friend has from Turkey. Sometimes we use the plastic plates to cut up stuff and it's inadequate, and you can't get them near the fire or the camp stove.

You wouldn't catch me using those cups with a hot beverage, though. And they seem flimsy enough that you couldn't set them down on anything not perfectly flat.

I've been seeing the 3-pack come up on Steep and Cheap quite a bit lately (for a lot cheaper than STP). Check out their site every so often if you are really interested. And, no...I've never used them...I'm not a camper. A bed & breakfast is about as "roughing it" as I can take! ;)
