I met cycling-sarah for the final ride of her 60 day challenge today! She did it! She rode 60 days in a row, in all kinds of weather, from gorgeous to sleet, with temps ranging from 60s-20s. Her stats are amazing, she rode just a smidge shy of 2000 miles over the 60 days.
Today was an extra windy one, just to make it a real "challenge" for her. At one point, we were riding into a headwind so strong that I was almost out of gears. Working my tail off as hard as I could to stay upright, we blasted along at a whopping 6 mph! We could have walked faster! No one said this is easy  but it sure was fun. Well, it was worth it when we turned around, riding 20something mph without even pedalling. I love the wind. I really do.
Tomorrow is supposed to be nice, for here that means 40s with just 15-20mph winds. Ride #61 :D.
