Silicon Gripper Tape - where to buy/improvise

Hey guys -
I'm looking to add silicon gripper to a few items that tend to ride up. Does anyone have any clue where to find some to buy, like by the yard?

I've thought of just cutting up old thigh high stockings from Victoria Secret that have the gripper at the top...but was wondering if there were other options.

Seattle Fabrics has gripper elastic. Not sure if it's the kind you want, though.
