Interesting development, I thought.
Neat stuff!
I know when Harley switched from chain drive to belt drive you'd have thought the apocalypse was at hand the way people carried on. :rolleyes: Turns out the longevity and lack of required adjustments/lubing/changes made them a brilliant choice. Hope it works out the same way for Trek.
But wait, if this catches on will Chainlove have to become Beltlove? And is that kinda kinky?

LOL! Obviously my mind is just not in the gutter enough. For me chain=bicycle. Belt=much more imaginative things! :p

Ahem, um, uh, about the chainless bikes ... yeah, um neat idea. No more need to lubricate...er, I mean, grease the chain. And it's a lot less dirty. For your clothes, I mean. Sheesh. :o
Excuse me, there's a test document I need to write...
