so me and my group of friends are taking a little break from spinning...we've been so good lately..and I think we deserve a little break...our "master" plan is to pig out, stay up all night and watch scary movies. Does anyone have any suggestions? Not TOO scary though!!/

Well, if you want funny-scary (big emphasis on the funny) there's always Young Frankenstein. :)

The Exorcist - the theme song alone gives me goosebumps.

The Omen.

Another funny one--Night of the Creeps. It's a kind of satire of horror movies and has its very, very funny moments.

Cape Fear. I think there's two versions. I've only seen the newer one.

What's the Cary Grant movie where he's being chased by a small plane?

The movie that scared me the most when I was a kid was Abbott & Costello Meet Dracula and Frankenstein.

The Cary Grant movie with the plane was North by Northwest, I think--one of the Hitchcock Films.

Ah, gotcha. We'll keep the suggestions coming, but then you have to tell us how the party goes. It sounds like its going to be a lot of fun.

I'll second Shaun of the Dead! Scary/creepy in places but funny as hell.

+1000000000 Shaun of the Dead- one of my fave movies and I usually don't like scary movies. The comic timing is genius.

For old school- Wait until Dark with Audrey Hepburn is a great thriller, especially at night in a dark room for a sleep over!

I thought Alien and Aliens were pretty suspenseful and scary.
I am Legend was another one.

Creepy: Devil's Advocate, The Sixth Sense, The Tenant (hard to find Roman Polanski psychological creeper), anything by Hitchcock, 28 Days

Funny creepy: Shaun of the Dead, The Evil Dead

ahhh yes Stamos has definitely aged nicely. I’ll watch anything hes in just
so I can stare at him. The movie you are talking about with him has to
be the Two Mr Kissels: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Grv9wOgWeew

Already set my tivo to lifetime for it for tomorrow because I’ll be
away. Lovely Stamos.

did anyone else catch the Stamos movie??/ It was surprisingly really good...I really enjoyed his bad guy role. I can't believe how selfish Nancy Kissel was….she was being greedy & only thinking about herself..not thinking about the children and how this would have an effect on them.
