Hmmm, I wonder if it is the name? My mother has a Siamese named Tucker and he weighs in at eighteen pounds!

Beautiful kitties, V.!

I love the picture of Tucker on the grand piano. He looks very regal in
his 'tuxedo'...like he's ready to warm up the orchestra!

Cute kitties! Coincidentally enough, I have both a tuxedo cat and a tabby cat, too.

I think Cassie is just gorgeous! She almost looks like part Abyssinian.

We call Cassie our little Egyptian Mau. They are spotted and she has spots on her belly instead of stripes and the spots at her whiskers.

She always looks regal.

Tucker usually looks kind of dweeby. :D

Thank you for the beautiful pictures of your fur-babies! It looks like you captured Tucker just before he made a run for it - nice work! I love his reflection in the piano. :-) Cassie is, as others have said, completely gorgeous, very intelligent looking. I'm so glad you have the happy bundles of energy/fur/love in your lives!

Hugs and butterlfies,
~T~

Tucker's Piano Pose looks like a Glamour Shot! Can you soften the edges just a bit?

Very pretty kitties.

Your Tucker looks like my Pepper...who is now about 17 pounds.
Wish I was at home and could send pics of my "kittens"...we are over 6 months now and they are starting to look all grown up!
I couldn't even read the otehr post about kittens (by SmilinyCat) w/ the sad face:(
I just couldn't start my Monday off that way!
This was better!

I feel kind badly, but I put SC's post on Ignore. It just made me too sad and angry. I did have a Tucker moment right after I read it. Cassie is the queen of "No Touching", except when SHE wants affection.

Awwww, cute kitties. I have a photo somewhere of my tuxedo cat, Herald, trying to do the regal cat pose, but the messy desk (MY fault, not his) isn't anywhere near as classy as a shiny piano.

Herald thinks he's my boyfriend.

What darlings. I had never heard of a Mau before. I looked on a couple web sites and they sound really neat. Your kitties look very loved and well cared for.

Our little "used" cat we adopted a couple months ago is settling in very well. Last weekend we took her with us to the farm house, and she really enjoyed herself. Lots of windows to look out of, lots of rooms to explore. She was very vocal on the trip (70 miles  each way) but didn't seem upset, just lots of commentary. We got a very small carrier and I carried it/her on my lap so I could keep an eye on her. Does anyone travel with a cat much? I'm hopefulo that she'll become quieter. A friend of mine trained her cat to be a very good traveler, but she started with a kitten. My girl is "about five" the Humane Society thought.

Hi Veronica,

Thank you for posting the beautiful pictures. I also went to your photo album. They are beautiful. I especially loved the photos where the two of them were taking naps together and Cassie sitting on your lap.

Thank you for lightening up my day and please give Tucker and Cassie a big hug from my family.

You're welcome smilingcat!

You are one amazing chick in my book. I could not be a foster mom. But I am so glad that there are people like you who can do it.

Both Cassie and Tucker were fostered before we adopted them.

I've moved cross country a few times with the kitties, and have hauled them away (~5 hrs) for hurricane evacuations. They are all pretty vocal for the first 1/2 hr or so. On long hauls, or if I preplan for the drive to my Aunt's - I've found books-on-tape are wonderful. For some reason the narration keeps the kitties calm, and it keeps me alert. When the tape/CD stops, time for a change, my most vocal cat, Bonnie, immediately starts complaining, but as soon as the narration starts again, she quiets down. So you might try Books-on-tape at your local library, and some truck stops.
