Seems not? Is a salmon duathlon be where you run or maybe swim somewhere then get on a bike and ride upstream on the wrong side of the road? :p ;)
I'm just kidding. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Velogirl did it last year. It's on the velogirls website as an event they have training for this year.
It looks like it will be rainy. That will be interesting.

Ride like a salmon! You won't mind the rain. :D Just don't die off at the end of the route as salmon do ;) ;)

it's a great race. we did it last year and spent the entire weekend up there -- camped at Tulloch Lake. there's a cool pumpkin rolling contest (and festival) in Knights Ferry on Sunday, too.
we opted out this year due to the weather (and the fact that I haven't been running). we escaped to the central coast for a pretty rain-free weekend instead.
did you race it, Veronica?

Yep- I had a terrible day - stomach issues.
But I really liked the course.

Hi V!!!
Great Job!! Those rollers on Sonora road are part of a 35 mile loop that I ride often... I know exactly which hill you are referring to
I wish I had coordinated my schedule well enough to come and cheer you on but I'm glad you had fun in spite of your tummy issues!!! :p
