DRY SKIN!!!! So frustrating!!! Ive been swimming three days a week, and now that the weather is turning cold, I can just feeeeeel my skin drying out. What do you ladies do (esp. on your face)?? Im already using Olay regularly, and after the pool.

I recently started using this at night:
http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P3571&shouldPaginate=true&categoryId=3728

and my late-20s, somewhat acne-prone but also starting-to-get-dry skin (exacerbated by using Retin-A) is clear and glowing.

I've also had good luck with this (for day):
http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P4039&shouldPaginate=true&categoryId=4164

Very rich, yet melts into my skin and doesn't leave me greasy.

And this (for night):

As for my body, most drugstore lotions (Neutrogena, Nivea, whatever) will keep my skin from drying out in the winter if I am religious about lotioning after every shower.

I've been using the olay in-shower lotion when I swim, and it's kept my skin from drying out so far. You wash with regular soap, then put the lotion on, then rinse.

Before that I was using an extra-dry skin body wash from St. Ives that worked well, too. The lotion seems to be defcon 2 to the body wash defcon 3... I'm not sure what defcon 1 is yet ;)

PS: I always shower RIGHT after I get out of the pool. I know it takes longer, but the longer that chlorine seeps into my pores, the worse my skin gets.

I started swimming this week (taking lessons not a triathlete at all, lol). I also ride a few days a week. I use an oil-based soap and moisturize my skin with Coconut Oil. I buy a jar from Whole Foods. A little bit goes a very long way.

My skin loves it.

You say that now... :p:D

I'm a coconut-oil-as-moisturizer gal, myself. Over the past few years, I've become super-sensitive to lots of fragrances/oils used in cosmetics and skincare products, so coconut oil has become my default moisturizer of choice.

I use soap in only the places that need it.
At the pool, I don't. I reckon once a day is fine.

And I currently use a product that contains oil and so moisturizes your skin. The only place that gets dry is my face.

I've been noticing this, too. Right now I'm using Almond Kisses moisturizer on my face from lush and it is keeping helping the dryness (it has sweet almond oil in it). I've been wondering if jojoba oil might also help, but haven't tried it yet.

I'm going to have to try the coconut oil trick. I'm also sensitive to fragrances/all the junk I can't pronounce in products so I'm always looking for things my skin likes.

And +1 for showering right after getting out of the pool. I feel like my skin is much less itchy this way.
