View Full Version : A stress fracture??? No, just stress...

Well, my left hand has been killing me lately, so I feared that I may have somehow broken my hand - maybe some obscure overtraining handlebar injury:rolleyes:

So, on Monday I went to the chiropractor as a walk in. We x-rayed it and it was fine. So, he's feeling around and asks me if I'm under stress...Yep!

So he pinches the spot between my thumb base and hand and brings me to my knees in pain.

Apparently, this is a reflex point. He tortured me for a few minutes, and now I'm fine.

Last week, I didn't buy reflexology...this week, a new perspective

I'm glad you found a solution.

I'm digging that avatar, by the way! Is that McAuley Caulkin?

I don't think so, but it's more fitting than being defined by a car.

Haha. When my friend was going through her divorce she touted the reflexology she received. It all sounded too new age and weird to me. We laughed because she did too and called it her "hippie therapy". Glad you are better, isn't weird how stress can do crazy things?

I have heard that same area works for headaches too.
