If I hear it one more time, I might scream. Summer is over, it's only 80 today. Go away ice cream trucks, go away! Turn off your Stoopid recording. Hello? Helllo?

I hear summer is getting started in the southern hemisphere, puleeze go annoy them for a few months. Please, pretty please?

Funny story..

When my daughter was younger and at her first piano recital, one of the better students played a lively version of Scott Joplin's "The Entertainer." When the song was over, my daughter said, "Wow, she played almost as good as the ice cream truck!"

LOL!!

I noticed this summer that it was the ice cream truck catering to the hispanics that played Christmas carols (it was *incredibly* annoying). The other one played rap (even *more* annoying). Ah well, the slurpie vehicle is a little made-over electric golf cart, with no music...

The entire town is. I love Bend except for its lack of diversity. I grew up as the minority (only causcasian on my high school tennis team) and it is very weird to have the opposite now.

My neighborhood annoyance plays some dumb tune I can't even place and then there's the recorded voice "Hello? Hello?"

And the music starts again. I want to shoot the speaker.

It would make more sense if the voice said "I scream, you scream, we all scream for Ice cream!"

But nooooooo - it's Hello? Hello?

ARRRRGGGGHHH!!!

I haven't seen an ice cream truck in years. My husband has a bike ice cream vendor come into his nursery, he only sells Mexican Branded ice cream from his ice cream trike but I never asked if he played music.

Baawaahhaa haa ha !!! :p

omg, that's soooo funny! Umm:o, I love the ice cream truck. That's my down fall... Mr. Sugar Satin On Wheels... yum, ice cream... and it makes me scream. Espcially when I get on the scales! OKAAYY... so it's a sick dysfunctional love relationship.

I personally think it would be great if you just went out to the end of the road when you hear the truck music and starting singing at the top of your lungs "I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream". :D

But then again, this is advice coming from a person who wants to respond to people's "clever" soccer sideline advice at my kids games (all while right next to me SCREAMING 6" FROM MY EAR:mad:)...

"RUN!... KICK THE BALL!... GO FOR THE GOAL!... ". *W*O*W*, that's really insightful!

*and my sideline conversation...*
