Atticus Ward was born at a whopping 8 lb 10 ounces, his Mom only gained 25 lb during her pregnancy. His arrival is the first event more exciting than cycling. He is perfect! Mom & Dad are both exhausted, Grandpa & Grandma are about 3 feet off the ground.

Love the name its been a fav since I read To Kill a Mockingbird years and years ago.

Yes, both of his parents loved "To Kill a Mockingbird". The Ward part honors my brother who was killed in a mine accident while trying to work his way through college. We are a very happy family right now. I'm off to send pictures to the great-grandma. Thank you all.

Congratulations! I found out last week that I have another grandson on the way. Nothing like it.
