I did the one in St Louis last year; it was a lot of fun. It was my first organized ride, I did it on a folding bike. The bike shop people took really good care of us and the pace was great for me. It was a very friendly ride. Unfortunately, this year it's on my little guy's birthday, so we're off to grandma's instead.

I'm doing the ride here in Milwaukee. I did it last year as well and it was a lot of fun.
Trek provided nice gifts to the riders and had some good door prizes also.
I like the fact that they are also offering a short 10 mile route to try to encourage more families to participate.

I did the ride with fastdogs last year and I'm riding it again this year. The Trek store was great to ride with. I'm doing it in St. Louis.

great! i am doing it in Oklahoma this year...
I did the MS150 a few weeks ago...and the first 80 miles were very very hilly. Do you think this ride will be some-what the same? How was the route in other areas? Hilly, level, etc?

So, how were the rides? I only rode 10 miles as the Trek store is in the middle of incredibly busy multi-lane highways. Crazy drivers, crazy intersections. The staff at the store are extremely friendly and we had a good time even with a blowout and a tip-over at a stop sign. Then I went to the Mississippi River trail and put in another 25 miles. Peace and quiet and nature sounds. :D

The ride at Ocala Bike Center was awesome! We had a nice turnout of 37 riders of all ages! One gal currently has breast cancer and she was very inspirational with her upbeat attitude about catching it early and beating it. There were refreshments and drawings and many smiles!

We had unbelievably perfect weather here in Milwaukee. Since that isn't always to be expected on a mid-October day in Wisconsin there were a lot of people that came in and registered that morning for the ride.
I'm guessing that there was over 60 riders, which was a great increase from last year's total - which was around 20.
There were a number of riders doing the 10 mile loop that hadn't been on a bike in 10+ years. They enjoyed themselves enough that they plan on getting out there and riding more regularly.
