Hup, hup, hup!

Great job all of you who completed week 3!

Just to re-emphasize: The thread titles refer to weeks we've been working the program, NOT what "week of the program" anyone is on. Most of us are going to be repeating weeks sooner than later, so if you're sticking with the program, stick with us PowerPUPs!

Hope you all had a great weekend and are ready to start week 4!

I hope you don't mind someone who is way behind joining in! I just completed day 2 of week 1 tonight, so I am way behind the rest of you, but I'm motivated! :D

I did day 2 of the week ,and its so hard for me. I find myself doing both regular ,and girly girl PUPS. When I just cant do anymore I switch to the knee ones. I'm still trying. I don't know why I'm so weak. I guess Im doing better than week one though. :D

Oakleaf, I have had such a difficult time. Perhaps I bit off more than I should have and consequently my shoulders and upper back have been very painful, even to the extent that I have a difficult time getting to sleep at night. So, anyway, I will need to bow out, but I will continue on my own but will scale back on the reps. I will still visit the site and cheer you all on. I am losing arm flab, so I know pushups are good for me, but I just need to back off a bit. Thanks for all your work and encouragement here.

kjay, it's good to listen to your body. You definitely don't want to be that sore for an extended period of time! The program is pretty ambitious, so yeah - good for you for wanting to work at your own pace. Do make sure you're getting enough protein, but don't feel bad that this isn't the right way for you to work out right now.

I just plain old forgot about it this week...too busy at work - 12 hour shifts that turn into 13, 14... got day 1 done, will re-do the week this week

(I wonder if lifting all my patients all week counts??...)

Good job everyone, Keep it up!!

Can I join? I can't do regular pushups, but I've figured out how to do girl pushups on company time . The grab bar in the handicapped restroom is about waist high on me and I use it, plant my feet as far back as I can take it, and do 25 in the morning, and 25 in the afternoon.

I'm a little self concious so I only do them when no one else is in the restroom and if someone comes in, I stop. Then those are forfeit and I have to start over next time I'm in there and no one else is. :p It's kind of a fun game.

I'm getting stronger and can move my feet back further than when I started.

Just did week 3, column 2.
18/20/16/16/21 = 95.

I am confused...I went to web site and foudn week 3 and column 2 different from the last one I printed (which was the updated version from the 1st one we started with). Does it keep changing???

I'll print week 4 and compare with what I have at home.

But I am moving to week 4 today!!!

I haven't noticed it changing more than once, but I can't say I've paid that close attention.

Carpaltunnel, join on in (but careful of those wrists :p)! Emily too! The more the merrier!

OK...so I am confused. ...
What week is this...should we be on week 5 of the program (weeks doing it?) But I am on week 4 (had to re-do a week). Not sure where to post.
Anyway....here is my whinning:
OK...week 4, but week 3 on program, column 2.
Behind this week so just did day 1---OMG. I can handle all but the last set...barely eeked out my 25. My arms of done by then. Tomorrow i have to eek out 30 for my last set...just not sure I can do it. I may be repeating this week, too.

Week 4, Day 3 = 90. I'm having to back off a bit because I've got a slight wrist injury (non-pushup related).

Aaargh . . . life & work have just been too crazy lately.
I think I will do an exhaustion test this weekend and then start over again from there.

I'm so impressed with everyone who has been able to stick with this so far!
