The boyfriend came out with me for a ride today. He rode his bike that he has ridden *maybe* three times in three years. Aside from his palms going a bit numb and his legs feeling as though they were "on fire" (his words) he mentioned on the way home (no prodding from me!) that "maybe this could be a weekend thing." He talked about going on one of the trails around town next week.
