Can anyone give me some feedback on the TERRY ISIS? And which wheels would you prefer..... Mavic Ksyrium Elite or Velocities - both are 650 size and I've always had 700's. HELP.

I ride a 2005 Isis...but it's a totally different bike because mine is Ti. I believe the geometry is the same though, and I love the bike. LOVE it. Mine is all Ultegra and I've not had any problems at all. I've put more than 5000 miles on it...

I have the Velocity Uriel wheels and I really like them. I'm actually thinking of buying a second pair to put on my other bike. I've never riden a Mavic Ksyrium Elite wheel though, so I can't compare.

Since my Isis is a 19", I have the 650's. I've never had any issue with them. They actually accelerate really well, so I've been pleased. I even had a flat on my MS150 a few years ago and they had a replacement tube available for me at the rest stop. I think that as long as you are talking about 650's and 23mm tires, they are common and easy to find. 650's with wider tires are more unusual and tubes/tires could be harder to locate.

I can't comment on the bike, but I like the Mavic Ksyrium Elites (700) that I have on one of my bikes.

I have Mavic Kysrium ES's (with the red hub and signature red spoke ;)) on my bike... and oh I wouldn't change them for the world!! You should see me fly going down hill... I love those wheels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:p

Those and the SLs (which I have) don't come in the 650c size.

I'd probably pick the Mavics, because they're pretty bombproof and the hubs are nice.

I have the Mavic Ksyrium Elite 650c on my tri bike. Mine go out of true more often than they should. On 40 plus mile rides they get uncomfortable. They transfer more road noise up to my hands/elbows. I like them for sprint tris though.

I can't comment on the Isis, but I have no problems getting tubes and tires for the 650c wheels on the internet. My LBS has tubes in stock, and I live in a small city.
