Back from when she started vacation? She's posted quite a bit since then. Just search for her posts on her page.

Six days away from work and the marijuana and cocaine and salvia divinorum are piled up over my earlobes to be analyzed. Today the air conditioner went off and died. Life is not pretty in a heavy lab coat, sweat-inducing nitrile disposable gloves, and face mask when it's 95 degrees in the lab.
Oh yeah, I'm the boss. I forgot. I told everyone to abandon the labs and find a cool spot.
I'm working on "Are you Becky?" and revamping my blog....and finishing a current video.....and analyzing drugs, and buying more stuff for the bike (photo equipment)....and following up on a few other "stories,"....
Currently the obsession list includes: the bizarre nature of knees including those of the flamingo; figuring out way to short-circuit this bizarre notion of Daylight Savings Time which wrecks the day for a biker who works....and I'm STILL wondering if Mr. Silver has been to sleep yet. Should we call 911?

So glad to see you're in your usual form. All I have to say about the above is that they are PINK doesn't that count for something?
*wishes I were PINK*, sigh.

I can help you with that ;)

How about some lights for that pretty red bike? Depending on what time and where you're riding, you may not need much (but I'm a pupil of the "more is better" school of lighting and reflectiveness).
Check out sunrisesunset.com for local sunrise and sunset information, including a handy calendar that you can print for your location. Mine is stuck to the fridge ;)

Lights?
I practically glow in the dark. Lights on the front, on the back, hanging from my backpack, wrapped around my ankles. Using the theory that if a belt is good, adding suspenders is even better, I also just bought a headband light that you attach to your helmet with an elastic strap.
Unfortunately, my helmet is as oddly-shaped as my head and as I went over a bump in the road, the elastic slipped down over my eyes. Talk about cursing the darkness.....

Then you're set for night riding :) I actually really enjoy riding in the dark, especially in the morning. It's so peaceful out there.
Good idea on the helmet light....I need to find something similar, and maybe some reflective tape too.

What a crack up. I just bought a Niterider on sale from REI. I guess you can't have too many lights. Or bells. I saw this really bright rear light. I can't remember who made it but it's gotta get someone's attention..good to see ya pardes!
