Not sure if I should put this in the humor section or not...

I just spent a good portion of an hour reading this blog and it's the funniest thing I've seen in a long time!

I almost peed my pants when I got to this one...

I can see spending a lot of time there:D

"Sorry about your herpes" :o

Now that's what I call bittersweet.

Ha! That's funny.

I should send them a picture of my birthday cake from a couple of years ago. My husband misspelled my name...Catherine - correct. Kathryn - not even close. Doesn't he even know my initials?

I'd love to have seen the expression on the customer's face
when they picked up the "Olympics Rings" cake.

That was one of my favorites too.

"What would you like it to say on your cake?"
"I want Olympic Rings on the cake"
"You got it!"

Talk about a lack of communication. If you were ordering a cake like that wouldn't you say something like 'I don't want it to say anything, I want a drawing of the Olympic Rings'.

I have to wonder if that's real. Sadly, it probably is.

Oxy,

How did you find this blog? On second thought, never mind.

Thanks for giving me a non-stop case of the giggles!

And this brings back reminders of my wedding cake. I wanted lilacs on it. I got purple roses.
At least it was presentable, and tasted good.

It was quite innocent, I assure you! A link was posted on a pug board that I read. :D

Actually this link is one of the funniest I've seen in a long time. The pictures are funny and the captions are hilarious, but I love how behind each picture you can see there's a whole story. You have the clueless decorators who can't spell or who had their minds elsewhere, some are obviously gag cakes, some give abrupt insights into families you've never met and some are just *mindbogglingly* bisarre...

Excellent! It confirms my theory that pug owners have great senses of humor! :)

Oh yeah, I've seen it! (And not just from your avatar.) I bought my first Boston Terrier from a breeder who also raised pugs. They are hilarious! :D

The wife of one of my co-workers owns a cake business. I showed him that site and he couldn't wait to show it to his wife!

His wife's cakes are incredible. She has competed on some of the cake decorating competitions on The Food Channel. The detail that she does is just incredible.
