Recently I was asked to appear on a local television program called Cycology Today. We spent an hour talking about bicycle apparel, functionality, dressing for the season, etc. I just watched the tape of the show, and since I don't look (or sound) TOTALLY dorky  I decided to post a link.

I suggest you watch it in "original size" as the picture will be a little more clear.

There's an "intermission" in the middle for 2-3 minutes through which you can easily fast forward if you want to.

It was alot of fun to do, although after seeing myself on TV, I don't think I'll quit my day job any time soon. ;)

Duh....I didn't even realize TE sold things! I must investigate immediately. However I'm not a jersey kinda girl. I prefer comfortable street clothes whenever possible.

Susan, this is really good! And you're very articulate--not so easy to do on TV. Really well done. And cool, too.

Duh....I didn't even realize TE sold things!

Are you kidding???? They're only the best online retailer for women's cycling clothes! Seriously! Always the first place I look, and typically where I end up buying everything! Fast shipping, fair prices, and extraordinary customer service. I've called and chatted about bike shorts, fit on jerseys, when a product I've seen elsewhere might be available.

Plus, they host this little forum that I've heard is kinda cool.

TE has street clothes, casual clothes, bike duds you can go from bike ride to night at the opera in .... well maybe not that but certainly ride to work and not look like a bike geek, ride in comfort and style and not look like a bike geek in the store or coffee shop. And of course we can get fully kitted out in lycra for anything from tri to mtb to walking the dog. They even have cool gifts.

Thanks Susan (and Jeff, and crew) for starting a store that's turned into the best place in cyberspace for women (and some men) athletes. :D

Long live TE. :D

And don't forget, right after you click "place order", immediately go to your mailbox and the order is there!

Seriously, probably the fastest shipping of all online retailers. You will certainly be pleased.

Yay, Susan! You looked great on camera. Nice sweatshirt, too!

I will watch the rest of it tonight when I get home from the Seattle TE dinner (see what you started?!?!).

If I may quote you: at bike shops the "selection of clothing tends to be a little bit narrow" NARROW is right! Thank you for carrying so many sizes! And for having a plus size section with lots and lots of choices! (and for bringing in Brooks saddles;))

THANK YOU, SUSAN!!!!

Pardes, certainly you wear cycling gloves, don't you? I mean, if you're not :eek::eek::eek::eek: i could tell you some horror stories about cycling without them!
TE sells them too! (there's lots of stuff TE sells that is awesome and NOT a Jersey, although the gal from Delaware COULD benefit from a New Jersey)

and don't forget, just click on the TE banner at the top of this page!!

Good job Susan! I think that you seemed more at ease on camera than the show's host (hostess?).

+a gajillion for shopping at TE! What a phenomenal selection of sizes, brands, and styles. Not all of it is "racer chic"....plenty of casual styles that still manage moisture well. And the service is excellent!

Especially nice to see real cyclists as models. Gee, leg muscles and everything.

Good answer on the underwear question. Well done! :)

Gee, thanks! You're all making me blush! Seriously.

When I watched the tape, I was expecting to have more "cringe moments". You know, that feeling you get when you realize you've said something totally stupid, or mixed up your words, etc. I only had one or two of those when I watched it. And I know those goofs will mostly go by unnoticed.

All in all, it was fun!

Great job, Susan! Thanks for showing everyone that cyclists come in all shapes and sizes.

And...the most important thing I learned from the whole show? How to pronounce 'Otcenas.' :D

Just watched the whole thing, it was great! Susan, you were by far the best and most relaxed one speaking.

But I seriously want some of those sandals now though. And I remember why I really really wanted that red Gore jacket...

Indeed as said... great job, Susan, on the interview!

Here in Mayberry, there are not very many lbs, much less ladies cycling wear. I can remember being so discouraged :( when I started riding never being to find what I needed. Then I think I learned about the SB brand and TE popped up from a google search. My mind was blown at all the wonderful things on here. I found the discussion boards later. Double brain blow out:cool:.

There are times when mail order is so frustrating for me as a "need to touch it, see it first hand" kinda shopper :o. I have never had one problem with the service from this site with the order process.

TE is certainly an ambassador of good will for ladies who want to ride:).

I thought the show was great too. I saw something on there that I've found interesting.. the sheila moon bolero,, it was nice to see it on the model. I always use the arm warmers but may end up purchasing a bolero in the future. TE is the first place I go to when making purchases for biking gear or apparel. They are super fast with delivery of the merchandise and the staff is so helpful. I've had fast response time with emails and when I had to return something it was no problem at all. Top notch company in my opinion and always highly recommended to my biking buds.

Thanks for a great fashion show!

I wish you could send someone down to the Cinderella Ride (2500 riders) here in No Cal. Next year it will be Saturday April 4th. If you can make it let me know and I'll get you in contact with Bonnie Powers who is the organizer of this ride.

Meanwhile, I'll send this link to my women cycling friends. :D:D:D
