Okay, I believe that I have attached a picture. I guess I'll find out. Anyway, I just love my bike. I've had it for a little over a month now. I ride it every week, and it makes me feel great. I got used from someone who wasn't getting the use out of it that they thought they would. I bought this one because I found it harder to get much speed or distance on the hybrids and mountain bikes. I want to try to ride for a quite a distance, and I'm finding more and more that I like to get some speed on the bike. So, I think I made the right choice in a road bike.

Yeah for me! I finally did it. ::)

Ooooo, very pretty. Specialized was on my short list, and most likely will be in the future too of what kind of bike to buy. I am glad to see someone else snatched an orphan bike like I did. Enjoy!

You know, I used to think a bike was a bike was a bike....as far as looking pretty but I swear every time someone posts a message about their new bike, I look at the photo and go "Awwwww" like you do when you see a new puppy.

Perhaps it's also because I know just how a new bike feels and how excited you feel. May we never forget the feeling.

Congrats! She's a beauty.

:) Thanks for all the compliments. She is a pretty bike. You know, I hadn't even thought about a color I would want, but this one suits me perfectly. I love it.

That is a sharp looking bike - so glad for you!! And it is indeed very pretty - love the color blue! I remember when my husband bought me my Giant Innova - I had to trade in my trusty old black mountain bike - it was never fitted to me and it was too small and heavy. So we went down to the bike store and found my hybrid. I remember to this day being disappointed that it was a deep, dark purple color. The men’s version of the bike was a really cool red color. But my bike had all the features that I wanted - so I settled for my “purple pavement eater”. Anyway, just after we purchased the bike, I injured the ligaments in my left knee and could not ride it for the longest time. I have recently starting piling up the miles on it and now I find it rather attractive. I nicknamed it “spirit” for my free spirited rides! Enjoy your new bike!!

Hello all,

I just wanted to tell you all that I am thoroughly enjoying my rides. Right now, I am fortunate enough that I have something called a veloway to ride on. I'm a little too timid to ride next to traffic yet. Plus, not only is the veloway just for cyclists and bladers, but it's surrounded by woods and animals. So, it makes it an even more peaceful experience. I love watching the animals as I'm going by. I usually see squirrels, deer, road runners, rabbits, etc. I once even saw a tarantula.

In any case, on the last ride, I got a wasp down my jersey! I guess I didn't have it zipped all the way. I had to stop on the side. He had gone all the way up my jersey sleeve. So, I had to force him out! But I kept riding after that. I guess that was not as bad as the time one of the squirrels did one of their run right out in front of me and then run back at the last minute tricks. That always get my heart going because I couldn't stand to run one of them over. Usually they stay out in the grass with the trees, but I guess sometimes they have to wander to the other side.

I am feeling pretty good about my rides because the veloway has some challenges, and each time, I feel a little stronger. I feel like I make small improvements. I would like to think that I might be able to do the MS150 next summer.

Please tell me any of your riding stories and successes. I love to hear things like that.
