I was thinking about you today, Fredwina. I brought my camera, too!

I did my regular loop, 24 miles, past the beach and out to roads less traveled. It was a gorgeous day! I swear I heard that horse ask for a cookie. That was right before I got the phone call telling me the track races were on. Dern! Well, I guess it's better to be riding than watching, but I so wanted to see those!

I love my bike.

I was pouting all day because I had planned to ride to work today, but could not find my front lights. I had taken them off at some point and seem to have lost them in my move. By the time I finished my 10+ hour day and biked the 16 miles up hill... it was bound to get dark before I made it home. Oh well. I cheered myself up with buying some online today.

I rode to the gym for Boot Camp last night. It took longer than I thought it would! Made it only 2 minutes late for class (but had to wear my bike gear instead of taking time to change), and then rode home.

However -- it gets darker MUCH earlier than I thought now! So 3/4 of my ride home was in the dark... by the full moonlight! It actually was VERY cool. Didn't have to turn on the headlight until 1 mile from home (good thing, b/c it's my hubby's, and it doesn't fit on my handlebars somehow -- had to hold it in my hand!).

It was Very Cool night for a ride, and I felt like such a commuter! Yesterday was car free and money free -- no driving, no spending! Need more of both of those!
