But that's how sometimes things evolve with me when I don't home until after 7:00 pm. And when I do something spontaneous after work that takes me away from supper initially.

My dinner started backwards.. my partner met me at my bike locker and bought an apple focaccia. Like a dessert. We had this "snack" on our way close to home while we sat by the waterfront somewhere.

Then at home, 'cause I was hungry, I had fresh plum, followed by a banana and 2 dried figs.

Then I had real entree dinner, which he made up in soup pot...a light carrot and leek soup broth with abit of noodle, chopped sweet onion and sliced tofu. Already it was nearly 9:00 pm. But nothing much could be done if we wanted to enjoy the evening in a relaxed manner. (Note: he has made full supper picnics before. )

Eating backwards does cause unusual sensations...next time, maybe right order is better. :o

I always say: "Life is risky and uncertain. Start with dessert."

But sometimes it's true that mom was right when she told us not to spoil our dinner with cookies... or apple foccacias. :)
